I transferred to C.E. King during the 2nd semester of my Junior year and ended up graduating early that same semester and I have to say I loved every minute of it! The staff and teachers were EXTREMELY supportive of my circ*mstances and always had my best interests at heart! There are endless career and academic opportunities available. You can gain real-life experiences while being in high school and they are big on after-high-school success planning. I loved it here, but the only downside is that there are a lot of issues with the students, and the way it is handled by faculty, that sort of takes away from the school's value.

C E King High School definitely has its ups and downs- like most high schools. Some of the best attributes has to be its facilities, activities, its stadium, and the opportunities students are presented with. Some of the worst attributes are its food, the academic level, and safety. From my experiences, all the teachers are great, and the variety of culture is both massive and too little. If I could see a change, it would be to lay off us kids a bit since they're overly worried about certain things while not about others, so they just need to prioritize specific things. I've met some of my best friends there, have done dual-credit (where I take San Jacinto college classes for certain class periods to get credit) and also have had some of the best memories there. They definitely always have students in mind.

I truly believe that C. E. King High School is a very great school. It is very diverse, and many resources are available to students. The instructors help seniors for what is to come. For example, there are many resources senior students have access to. We are encouraged to make thoughtful decisions and to prepare for our future.
